Lakers fans are so toxic they’re incapable of appreciating their team without finding a way to bash one of their own players.

They did this with the Shaq and Kobe Lakers.
They did it with the Kobe and Smush/Brown Lakers.
They did it with the Kobe and Pau Lakers.
They’ve been doing it with the LeBron/Davis/Luka Lakers.

Objectively the worst fan base in professional sports. No franchise on earth finds a way to hate on success the way they do. It’s staggering.

rich paul and Dave McMenamin putting out multiple stories out before the season of how Bron will be watching how the team does but when we actually do start off good LeGBT mad that Bron gets mentioned

They also were the ones constantly saying the ratings would go down without Bron but now that they aren’t they get mad when it’s mentioned

But if we were playing like trash these same nikkas would be pushing the issue, if the ratings were down they’d be pushing their same spiel about how the league will be lost without their big.

Anybody with sense knew that not extending Bron was the right move.

We are two weeks in and the Lakers look good.

Need a larger sample size, but this bodes well for the future without Bron.

All of these things are true and none of these should be a negative spin on Bron. The motherfukker is OLD.

I've advocated for a few years now for the Lakers to cut bait. They didn't do it, because the plan all along was to let this shyt expire after this season. I would not even think about re-signing him unless he agrees for next year to be his last year----->its well past time to turn the page into a new Laker era and they have obviously started that process.

Unless he wants the 1-year deal as his last season to retire a Laker, there should be no conversation to re-sign him.

With that said, he is the main factor in restoring relevancy to the Lakers in the last 7 years and if they can end this era with another title, it'll make it that much sweeter.
