:mindblown: How is this heading into his 3rd season with the Rockets since being traded & you guys keep still don't get it.

They were willing to pay the tax to keep Harden, they offered him $56M. He wanted nothing less than the max & got moved. This $29M in profit wouldn't be that much if Harden was still here & they were paying the tax. Half the reason that number is so high is because we still haven't broken into the tax.
Harden was a RFA. He couldnt go anywhere, and would have signed that 56m. If anything, match it, then trade him. They had him for one more season at the cheap price, and were coming off a Finals trip. You run that back. You don't trade it for garbage you could have got at the All Star Break

You guys were talking like the team would go under if they signed Harden to a max or near max deal. That team is in great financial shape and you dummies bought their sob story hook, line and sinker. :mjlol:

To follow up on this, they paid INTO the revenue sharing. That $29 million profit is AFTER they gave money to other teams. They are rolling in dough.

The Lakers stay winning. They could operate a lottery team in the next few years while expanding their salary cap and still make a killing off annual revenues. :win:
