This is the most important part of the article. Lotta people said OKC couldn't afford Harden and that's CLEARLY not the case.

How is this heading into his 3rd season with the Rockets since being traded & you guys keep still don't get it.

They were willing to pay the tax to keep Harden, they offered him $56M. He wanted nothing less than the max & got moved. This $29M in profit wouldn't be that much if Harden was still here & they were paying the tax. Half the reason that number is so high is because we still haven't broken into the tax.
