But he could still stay and ruin the rest of Kobe's career :batman:

Still not sure if he's just trolling if he resigns :leostare:

Lets be reality... If Kobe didn't get hurt, LA would have at LEAST gotten to the WCF.

D12 would have contributed enough for Mitch to offer him a long term deal.

Lets not shyt ourselves...

Nah, 2nd round if Kobe never gets injured. The team was just way too flawed by the time we got to the finish line seeing as how Kobe was playing the entire game at age 34 to provide offense for a pathetic team. That tells you two things, 1. that the pile of dirt we hired to coach hates the post up game thereby nullifying the one of the advantaged we'd had in the past, 2. dwight has a terrible post up game. The problem is two-fold.

Unless we were gonna suddenly get a competent head coach, sign shooters that can shoot, relieve gasol of his severe vagina sprain, and dwight was gonna become a viable 2nd option alongside Kobe then 2nd round was gonna be our full potential this year.

:russ: Only chance of them going that far is if they get the refs that did their games against Golden State or Portland at least 4 times a series.

So, you are saying the Lakers would have beaten the Spurs? :comeon:

Kobe playing wouldn't have changed the results. The team had no chemistry and was going nowhere regardless. Dwight would have still pondered leaving just off of the poor treatment he received from Laker nation and the lack of support from Kobe. Kobe could have shut Laker nation up by openly supporting Dwight and telling people to back off of him since he is coming back from injury. Instead he questioned Dwight's drive adding fuel the fire. Mitch is still ready to offer him a long term deal. The future of the Lakers hinges on Dwight signing because Bron is not going there to help Kobe win a sixth ring.

Either fire Dantoni, hire phil, or kick f*ckin rocks.....

I'm a laker fan, and dont blame dwight one bit if he lost...

If you gonna lose a franchise player, for a coach who has been fired multiple times, I would not want to play for that organization
