How do you figure they'd be worse?

Because kobe is great individual player and a terrible team player.Several opportunities would be taken away from the current players who are hustling and grinding and playing hard because of his 25-40 shot attempts per game and constant scowls if they don't give him the rock

I know he has 5 rings but being 2nd option to prime shaq in an offense with spacing and movement is easy.The other 2 rings were vs a weak wet behind the ears magic team and a pushin flabby celtics team after being gift wrapped the 2nd best pf in the league at the time

I think Kobe has cut back on shooting so recklessly over the last few years.
And I think what is REALLY hurting the Lakers is having to give Steve Blake so many minutes. That guy is terrible.
