As a San Diego clippers fan I hope they don’t trade him and they keep going out sad. They deserve each other. There’s no reason the the team should be this bad except for mismanagement by Jeannie and her posse and Bron/Klutch co-signing the Russ fiasco.As a Bron stan Lakers need to trade him

I mean the GENERAL MANAGER and OWNER wanted to revamp the roster and trade everything for another 3rd star. They have been very concerned with the PG and playmaker position Lebron's entire tenure there, and have wanted to have a secondary playmaker which is why Rondo was important, and they tried to upgrade to DS and now Russ.

They've been obsessed with clearing the books for 2023 for years now with only Bron/AD/Max Christie currently signed, and it's why they haven't given out longer term contracts in addition to not giving Derozan that 3rd year (Which is a problem in itself because players like Malik Monk, and TBJ you aren't able to retain with Bird Rights and they play well for you but then are gone the next year)
It's also a big reason why they haven't traded for Hield/Turner.. not just the picks, but because it means they would have to extend each and their plan of clearing way in 2023 would come to an end
The issue with this is that the FA class next year is below average.. and even then they really don't have enough to make a huge splash and would be asking high level role players to take a paycut. The plan is stupid, and I don't understand why they are going this route.
The situation they’re in is what happens when you give Klutch too much unchecked power, and deep down they know it too.
