:what:

gasol averages 13.9 PPG and Ibaka averages 13.6 PPG - if they dont have a low post /frontcourt scorer than that means gasol isn't one either.

you expect me to believe zach randolph (15 PPG) can make up the difference that durant (28 ppg) and westbrook (23 ppg) have over conley and tayshaun?

the thunder have a wing scorer on their BENCH that averages more points than EVERY single wing player on memphis. cotdamn use your brain.

the THREE starting wing players for memphis combine for 33 points per game ,..... who's gonna close for memphis? tayshaun prince? tony allen? conley?

Conley can do it if he's selfish. He needs to take more shots.

Durant and Westbrook as we saw in the finals got a lot of points and kept losing. Why? The Thunder didn't dictate shid after Game 1. They let Miami's small lineup kill them instead of punishing Miami for playing fukking Battier at PF.

I know you think its comical, but Memphis just like Indiana, make games ugly and they pull them out more often than not. Hollins is a better coach than Brooks to boot.

OKC lost cuz of match ups
scott brooks constantly plays perkins who does nothing offensively or defensively

Zach lowe said it best earlier

You can hide a 6'7 player on perkins and he cant make them pay on either end of the court.

you're telling me that conley can even come close to closing games like either durant or westbrook?

:wtf:

as ive said coaching is the thunder biggest problem. but that doesn't give any sort of reason to suggest memphis is more able to deal with the heat.

i do agree that they're about on level terms with pacers in how they can give the heat problems (except pacers have more wing scoring threats - george, hill, granger etc etc), but they don't have a better chance than the thunder. id say memphis is about ranked 3b in terms of teams that can give the heat the most problems: spurs, thunder, pacers/grizzlies.
