Man I went to Anthony Hamilton's gig last nite and it was one of the best shows I've been to in a long time... Besides the music all three were very personable and real, like wasn't no superstars, no divas etc etc They all loved bein there and enjoyed rockin the house as much as the people loved seeing them do what they do...
The highlights was during Anthony's set how two people got engaged during Point Of It All...shyt, everyone of us in the house was moved to tears just feelin their love and there was a couple more dancin in the aisles at times the rest of the night.. Eric (Who can riff some damn notes tenor and falsetto)
said some people got mad at him for Chocolate Legs 'cause they didn't feel like he was talkin to them lol ..He had a projection screen and even poked a lil fun at himself about the leather and sandals in the early days of his career..
Another high was meeting Lalah at her merch table...Now I didn't have any gear, but I didn't care I just wanted to say a lil somethin while there was time, so I got there and told her thank u for all that she's done and everything she's doin next... And btw her smile+the voice and them lips...
