Lamar Jackson declares for NFL Draft

The only real question marks is his accuracy.... but I'm not going to take it as fact when considering that bum ass oline and receiving corp. Jackson made that program a contender.

If he can fall to a squad like NOLA. He probably be a star if Drew Brees is itching to retire after next year. I doubt Lamar falls past 15th if he has great combine. Which I'm 100% sure he will and give him a much needed boast in his stock.

I see him as a late first round/early 2nd round talent. He has all the physical tools and he has a rocket arm but he needs 2 years to sit, imo. You can build around him, but he needs to work on his accuracy, it's just not consistent. I also think that he needs to make at least 2 reads before he breaks for a run, though I don't blame him for doing that in Louisville, their line was atrocious. He also needs more snaps playing under center since Louisville's offense is for the most part run out of the shotgun.

He did go thru his progressions this season. For the most part. It's never enough when it comes to LJ

I just hope he gets a legit chance to be a QB and that a team doesn't draft him trying to turn him into a "utility" player. A lot worse prospects have come out over the years and been first round picks so I don't see why Lamar isn't with all the QB needy teams in the NFL.

I think Lamar has all the tools, but he's gotta go to a system that's gonna develop him as a QB & not just as Falcons Vick 2.0. He's not a big guy either so all that running around won't work for long

The other concern is that Watson learned how to slide and avoid some big hits. Lamar runs and goes for extra yards like he's Cam.

I think he'll improve his accuracy if he fixes his footwork.
