Lamar said he was anxious for years which didn't help matters in big situations. Lamar needed seasoning as a backup for a few years...he rarely made pinpoint big time throws and still has not proven much.

It's not even about ring culture, look at Mahomes regular season vs post season stats/play and look at Lamar regular season vs post season stats/play and there's a difference. It's the same thing with Peyton and A-Rod, their regular season greatness dropped off.

It's not even about ring culture, look at Mahomes regular season vs post season stats/play and look at Lamar regular season vs post season stats/play and there's a difference. It's the same thing with Peyton and A-Rod, their regular season greatness dropped off.

Because Lamar was the entire offense teams focused solely on stopping him. Hes never came close until this year to having the same amount of talent as mahomes had on offense. Also mahomes has gotten carried a couple times in the playoffs where as Lamar never could have that privilege he had to be Superman to win in every game prior to this year he was the leading rusher and while also throwing to scrubs.

Jayden Daniels is just as accomplished as Lamar by simply going to conference title game and by playing well enroute to conference title game.


Ball placement, consistent mechanics and accuracy matters, but people keep giving Lamar passes and excuses over the years. Jayden Daniels doesn't have a bunch of offensive help and he has much less experience.

Put Jayden or CJ on 2019 Ravens and I think we would have had a 3rd Lombardi/4th if you count b-more colts in the trophy case a couple years back.
