What about All Pro's as the Ravens have had at least twelve combined the past two years. They've also had one of the best defenses of all time in the past couple of years if you go by the numbers that
@Blessings loves to post.
Offense or not, they haven't been able to get it done.
I'm not disputing that Lamar had a better team overall. I'm saying using pro-bowls as a barometer in today's league isn't a good way to measure the strength of a roster. You could have three pro-bowlers as a long snapper, kick returner, and full back, and another team could have a player that is a first-team all-pro at an HB/WR/DE/OLB position. In a vacuum, which would you rather have?
Again, not disputing that the Ravens had a better team. They they had more all-pros than the Bengals, but keep in mind that includes Lamar Jackson and Ricard (a FB). Meanwhile, the two all-pros the Bengals had were Chase and Hendrickson, both arguably the most impactful players at their positions last year.
So, I'm not saying the Ravens didn't have more talent.....they did. My issue was using pro-bowls as some sort of barometer.
