He's never been on their level and it shows. He's the only QB who isn't a winner in that group when healthy
Jake Browning put up better numbers this year than Joe Burrow. I been saying that Jamarr Chase and the elite WR's are the most important part of the Bengals passing success. This year has shown that Joe Burrow is a clear step below Lamar Jackson. He's in the Justin Herbert tier now.

you do know Jake browning didn't throw as much to chase as Burrow? Joe is the better QB.
I don't think he's saying Browning is better than Burrow if Burrow is on the same tier as Herbert.

Gotcha....That WR core of the Bengals Chase + Higgins + Boyd is elite because of the first 2 names
Prior to Chase you're talking about a rookie Higgins catching passes from a rookie Burrow who missed a bunch of games
Bengals 2020 team pretty much tanked for Chase
Burrow being in the same tier as Herbert isn't a diss

This is classic casual behavior, box score watching. Burrow was playing hurt for much of the year, including in the game where he ultimately went out for the season. If you can't understand he is an elite QB and Browning isn't I don't know what to tell you.
And yea he's a better QB than Lamar, who I fukk with and who is clearly the MVP.
