I can't speak for everyone, but to me he sort of took the coward way out (leaving because Dame was getting more pub than he was). How is Aldridge being viewed by Blazer fans?

People say you can't blame him for going to the Spurs, but the Blazers could have been contenders if he stayed because more than likely we re-sign Lopez and Mathews.
there is no way that squad was a serious title contender. Even if yall did resign Lopez and Matthews you still would have mo depth.I can't speak for everyone, but to me he sort of took the coward way out (leaving because Dame was getting more pub than he was).

They would have been if Mathews, Afflalo were playing and Aldridge was 100%.They reached their peak with that squad last year and still weren't a serious contender
We added depth to the front line with Ed Davis and Mason Plumlee. Gerald Henderson would have been the backup SG instead of the starter. Our only question mark would have been SF.there is no way that squad was a serious title contender. Even if yall did resign Lopez and Matthews you still would have mo depth.
He's already said he's going to resign. He only opted out to get a bigger max contract.
never trust these nikkas man.

Dude spent 9 years in Portland...
Was supposed to be paired with Greg Oden...
Fail...
Was supposed to be paired with Brandon Roy...
Fail...
Was pared with a streaky shooting, chucking point guard who has been absolutely cooked in 2 of the last 3 post seasons...
Fail...
Not much more he could have done...not much more Portland could have done...
They reached their peak with that squad last year and still weren't a serious contender
Portland fans really just wanted dude to rot there his entire career like KG did in Minnesota before he left
