world.. His words) .. Because he feels having a white women will make him less Asian and elevate him in society. He notes that dating a blonde haired women will make him even amongst white men or mAybe even superior in this social hierarchy that exists.

He realizes that in this social hierarchy that exists that
white men/women are at the top
Asians are a step down
Hispanics are lower
Blacks are at the bottom

He's somewhere in between because he's mixed with white and Asian. He feels inferior yet superior at the same time.

Where did he learn this from? His parents? Maybe it was an observation of the world and how certain races are treated.. This was something he learned from some place, from somewhere.

His racism is anger born from his personal self hatred, social hierarchies and the entitlement of such that left him feeling more entitled to white girls than full asians because he's half white, more entitled to white women than Hispanics and blacks because amongst this unspoken social hierarchy rule that exists they are lower than him.
