The Arsenal
The center blocks the shot
Boy throws the ball off the glass like he's T-Mac then makes a lazy pass
Other boy does a Rondo ball fake and blows a layup
And the center has to run down the court and clean all this up
Damn, HS basketball so ass now :dead:
if i'm in that crowd and see some shyt like that

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
This Chino Hill team with all three Ball brothers vs a Lebron's St. Vincent St. Mary team who yall got? :jbhmm:

LeBron's team was ranked 1 in the country his senior year, he dropped 52 on Trevor Ariza, and beat Oak Hill when they were number 1. He beat teams with multiple NBA players his senior year and D1 guys playing a national schedule, the Ball brothers wouldn't stand a chance :yeshrug:

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
Isn't this how loyala used to play under westhead

Their scheme makes sense for HS basketball, they get the other team playing faster than they should with the press and taking a lot of corner threes betting that they can't make them at a respectable clip. When the three misses they get the rebound and just throw it down court to the dude cherry picking.

I said the same thing when I originally watched them play. Lonzo Ball is killing it at UCLA, and this gimmick BS ass uptempo style actually is helping him translate well to the college game.

Lonzo is a pro and LaMelo is on track to being a top 25-50 guy in his class. Their dad looks like he's gonna be right with how he molded them and their play style.

The video speaks in absolutes off a fukkin one game sample size.

Lonzo has a "terrible shot selection" yet he's shooting 53% and 43% from 3.

Calls his handle "basic" and "predictable" and says he's careless with the ball. Yet he's 2nd in the nation in assists and 17th in assist/to ratio.

:camby:

Dad ain't the coach.

Onyeka Okongwu is the Chino Hills player that makes the entire scheme work. They're able to cherry pick and basically play 4 on 5 because he's an elite rim protector and swallows up everything in the paint. Even when their press gets broken, with Okongwu as the last line of defense, you still don't get an easy bucket.
Game was cherrypicked because it was the one where you could see him against nba caliber competition at Kentucky and how his game translates against it. Bluechip players are usually gonna have great #'s before conference play since the level of comp is usually trash overall.

Draftexpress does this every year for marquee matchups and do a good job pointing out strengths and weaknesses. And the evals aren't solely based on 1 game. This is just the best example to see him against plasters potentially at a similar level.
