I still don't see the it factor. In order to be an elite player you need half court skills like size up, hesi, dribble continuation etc. Melo has very little of those and every play seems erratic when I see him play.

I can see the comparison, Lamelo just has to look to score a little more. He’s definitely poised and a general on the floor.

People have to realize they’re going from being drafted to playing NBA basketball in less than a month. It’s not going to be perfect but you want to see that guys belong, and Lamelo clearly belongs.

I love LaMelo but I need to see more offensive production before I get hype. A great passing, great boarding PG ain't enough. It's incredibly early but Melo didnt answer the main questions about his game in that first preseason game. What I was yesterday was similar to Lonzo's first game with in the league just with more flair and creativity.
