Lavar pretty much pulled LaMelo out of Chino Hills High cause the coach had a problem with him shooting half court shots and cherry picking in game and wanted to run a real offense for the team

Someone just wrote about it. Basically Lavar told the new coach to add four players to varsity and coach told him no. Then he changed the offense, deaded the run and gun, and ran the new system through their big man, a 5-Star prospect in 2019. Lavar was out.

They’re nowhere near as good this year, but to be fair, as wild as Melo plays he was a killer for Chino.
