"Mr. Stephenson texted me asking if we could meet up and speak," Feby Torres testified.

NBA star Lance Stephenson tried to talk the mother of his children into dropping her child support battle against him, she testified in court Friday.

Thirty minutes after Stephenson and Feby Torres, both 24, left Brooklyn Family Court in September he messaged her, Torres claimed in court Friday.

"Mr. Stephenson texted me asking if we could meet up and speak," Torres testified.


"He said the kids don't need any more money and he'll give them whatever they need and he doesn't want to come to court anymore.”

Currently, the 6-foot-5 Coney Island native dishes out $6,000 a month to help support their 4- and 1-year-old children with day care, food, rent, car payments and other expenses.

Torres is now asking the court to order Stephenson to double the amount to over $12,000 per month.

Stephenson's attorney believes Torres' requests are foul.

"What do you do all day?" Stephenson's attorney, Laurence Greenberg, asked as Torres' attorney Dan Nottes objected.

Torres admitted not earning any income since Sept. 2014, saying she takes care of their children full-time with some financial help from family.

She wants to go back to college and needs the pay increase to put both of the children in day care and move them out of Bedford-Stuyvesant to a safer neighborhood, she said.

“They weren’t married. She’s enhancing her own lifestyle with child support money,” charged Greenberg.

Stephenson is projected to earn $9 million a year after signing a three-year contract with the LA Clippers in June.
