Puff spent 1997 on a campaign to be this peace maker in Hip Hop. By 1999, when everything changed from the glossy, party vibe to a more grimier, street vibe, Puff was willing to risk it all to fit in to that grimier street image when he'd worked so hard to be viewed in a more positive light.
