He's not 'pushing back', he threw away his life for this. He's probably been planning this for a minute, he didn't wake up and decide to do this, he had to scout out locations, write all that shyt, this was planned. Crazy/insane/disturbed/unbalanced....whatever, something is off. It just seems like he could have moved on from LAPD, and done something different, but he was obsessed with righting that wrong, or getting his revenge. Dude could have wrote a book. A lot of things.
