Everything in the cabin is burnt to a crisp but his wallet with ID that was supposedly found in San Diego is still intact? 
This shyt makes no sense. A body burned so badly that they had to id it with a drivers license? More than that, the body is burned so badly it's unrecognizable, but a flimsy drivers license made it intact? This story is crazy. None of this makes any sense!

Really though, what kind of police force purposefully allows a suspect to burn to death? That's lynch mob behaviour. I'm sure I heard them say that the fire may have been caused by the flash bang grenades they threw into the wooden cabin.
