Still mad that Larenz Tate never reached that next level like he should have. This guy at the age of 20 was pretty much the next in line and he didn't have a drug problem (that I ever heard of anyway) or legal problems that contributed to him not blowing up. So I always wonder what happened when there were plenty of roles out here for Denzel Will and even guys like Jaime Foxx.

I think it was his youthful look that kept him from that next next level. He always looked like a little kid. You can only go so far with him. IMO.

me too, dude seemed to fall off the map after why do fools fall in love. i'm like did he get disenchanted with hollywood, was there drama we didn't know about? just seems like he should've had more prominent roles (even as a supporting character) in more notable movies. dude fell into straight to DVD land

Right. Unlike Tom Cruise he's not the right shade for Hollywood to overlook his stature. I can't lie tho, I remember a few years back when he was in an Ashanti video playing an abusive tough guy that used to put hands on her. They had him smoking cigars, drew a tattoo tear under his eye, and I still wasn't convinced.
