Jeffrey Wright is a great actor.

As tongue-in-cheek as that Shaft movie was, Wright nailed that dominican drug dealer role.
But he was just as good (in a classical way) in The Ides of March and Syriana.

Will patterned his career after Tom Cruise that's why you see a majority of his roles are big budget and require a lack of chops. For the record he's a better actor than tom cruise and he's a better actor than his roles usually show. Seven Pounds proved this along with glimpses within other roles.

Larenz tate is very talented and very underrated tho. Jeffrey Wright is extremely underrated and on the low may be on denzel's level
