Cane toad: Originally found in South and Central America, these toads are a nuisance to Australia’s wildlife. It has few predators because of it’s extremely toxic skin.

Giant weta cricket: Jiminy Cricket here is only found on a small island near New Zealand (the lesser Monster Island, next to Australia). It’s large enough to devour a carrot. And probably your hand.

Saltwater crocodile: This is the largest crocodile that was ever captured, over 21 feet long. It was captured alive after a three week hunt. BAMFs of the year go to those guys.

Flemish rabbits: Flemish rabbits are big, but Sandy is one of the biggest. Here she is with her pet Sheltie.

This huge rat was killed in a Bronx, NY Foot Locker back in January of 2012. It looks fake and people should hope it’s fake… but reports seem to indicate this was a real rat that was killed. And it was real big.

Giant freshwater stingray: Otherwise known as nightmare fuel, these monsters can grow up to 1,300 lbs and are actually endangered.

Coconut crabs: Often mistaken for a 'Camel Spider' these aren’t as delicious as they sound. They are actually giant crabs with claws powerful enough to crack coconuts. It is found on islands across the Indian Ocean and parts of the Pacific Ocean.

Giant huntsman spider: This giant bird-eating spider can be found in Laos and its much bigger than its cousin in Australia (the land of giant, dangerous animals). It spends its time hiding in the dark in caves (and under your bed). As if a plain ol' huntsman spider wasn't bad enough.

African goliath frog: You can find these big frogs in Cameroon. They can live up to 15 years and will eat anything: bugs, snakes, other frogs, dreams. Probably you. Look behind you!

Giant hog: This wild, giant hog was taken down by an 11 year-old hunter. Think it’s fake? His name was Jamison Stone (the boy, not the hog). The pig weighed 1,051 lbs and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.

Nomura’s jellyfish: This jellyfish is found off the coast of Japan and can weigh up to 440lbs. It’s about the same size as the lion’s mane jellyfish, the largest in the world. It’s easy to understand how Japan came up with Godzilla.

no way that bat is real.

Even if it's a freak, there should be others similar in size.

I can't tell how big the bat's supposed to be. It really depends on how much in the foreground that post is compared to the guy standing behind it.

I saw a big horse at a carnival. Lamest show, you go in, look at it, walk out. I also saw a bearded midget lady at the same carnival. :manny:

Uncertain grounds
:wow: at the bat
:wow: at that rat being at a foot locker

Those pictures made me shiver.

Im rarely afraid of animals but I gotta say, when I see an abnormally large animal for a specific species I bug out. I saw the biggest vulture I have EVER seen by far at night when I was in high school and working at a restaurant. Was cleaning up the kitchen and throwing out the trash outside and I swear it was either a Turkey Vulture that somehow found itself up here in New England or it was a gigantic Black Vulture. I heard like a loud hissing and another indescribable noise..thought it might be a snake up the adjacent hill because of a rustle of leaves..but then I looked up and saw that thing swooping in mad close and wigged face. The wingspan was just :mindblown:
