:mindblown:

The ages of alot of these guys. Rakim, Kane, G Rap, Nas, KRS-1, Snoop Dogg, Scarface, Outkast, Large Pro etc were all in the late teens, barely 20s when they first came out.

Seeing him in Nore's Pyramids video last year had me thinking dude was in his 50s but then I checked and he's only in his early 40s. Had me like :what:

he'll just keep piling on the grays and keep doin him, man. thats why hes so cool, dude didnt cater to nobody in the 90's so he wont do it now. he just does stuff he enjoys and chills it seems

He had his rough patch when he started experimenting (like most dudes) with keyboards in the late 90's....fukkin' Kurzweil and shyt. He had some depression and industry horror stories that brought him real close to the edge but he's rebounded lovely the last 10 or so years and his music is back to being great. I don't see him stopping any time soon. Mega-Philosophy is one of my most anticipated projects on the slate.

yea the First Class era was wack, and he'll be the first to say it wasnt really his heart. if The LP dropped on schedule it would have really enhanced his profile

single from Mega Philos drops on the 5th, ill throw it up when i see it

I actually love the good stuff on 1st Class. That's when he started working out the kinks. I'm referencing the stuff he was doing independently with Neek The Exotic and shyt.

The LP, has slow burned to one of my all-time go to albums. And the buzz on it was that it was wack and thus shelved. I love a lot of stuff on that record.

yeah, Nas talked about the first time he met him, was when he and L.E.S. picked him up from school.

Was this in a Funk Flex interview?

In one of interviews Nas talked about how Eric B did Large Professor dirty on the credit/money tip, which caused a lot of Large Professor frustration with music industry. Been looking for this interview for years--It was when Hip Hop is Dead came out. Nas said Eric B promised Large a Honda Accord, but never got if for him lol
