Both had the fukking foresight to never do a song with that struggle bar spitting, rusty ass flow having, biting ass, tranny chasing fukk nikka Camel, so it's a tie.:blessed:

Camel LOST, so I'll give him both L's :russ:

Good to see that people agree that Large Pro has more consistency and diversity in beat meeting.

For me, that said, Preemo's best beats are better than Large Pro's best beats.

I gotta go with Premier (I never realized there was different ways to spell Primo), but Large Pro will forever get props not even just for his own production but because he was the one who taught Primo how to filter samples to separate the bass lines. Large Pro was ahead of his time.

This is close as fukk but I have to give the slight nod to Premo.

Large Professor is a dope rapper though in his own right and his run from 91-96. That being said dude is dropping hot stuff today and he is more versatile.

Even though Premo hasn't dropped anything great since maybe 2007, dude's beat can make the most trash rappers sound good (Group Home, Krumbsnatcha). Dude was also the progenitor of the boom bap sound, I mean dude had everyone following his lead, but both are terrific.

probably the only thing holding LP back for a lot of people is that he doesn't have full albums like Sun Rises... or any of the Gangstarr albums. he has his own body of work in his own way but people can't point to that one classic. personally i think Breaking Atoms is up there with any Premo produced album you can think of and Large spits on every song and produced it all, it's practically a solo album. his recent work with Cormega is another dope album and i don't think Premo has made anything of that calibre for a long time. LP's drums are :lawd:
