I used to think this was true as well. Till I started actually seeing videos from Ethiopia showing different ethnic groups in their natural lands rather than preselected photos.

The mixed looking East African is a small minority.

The vast majority look like the ones in the music video I posted.

Yea its an exaggeration that ALLLLLLLL Cushytes/Horners look like those light skinned Instagram Horners.

Horner families remind me of Latino families where everyone relatives is diverse in looks.

WTF? Who here is talking about some damn instagram? I'm talking about real life experience in the Horn. Habeshas just don't include Eritreans but also Amharas in Ethiopia and I also seen many light skinned ones. While I did not see EVERY SINGLE Eritrean immigrant in Addis, the few I did see were very light on average compared to the Oromos, Amaharas, Somalis or Gurage I saw. Heck many Tigreys I saw were quite lite. If my post offended you my bad. lol. But I'm talking about what i saw.

What Eritrean ethnic group are you? Because it counts imo.

Lol nah breh i wasnt offended im just saying. The cushyte speakers are usually darker than the semites on average, but Eritrea got alot of cushytes aswell (Afar, Bilen, Agew for example). My dad is akele guzay, i think my mom's tribal makeup is very mixed but i know her mother is Tigre.

I think he's going off the fact Eritrea is closer to Arabia. Would make sense that there would be more mixing in that region.

Its actually KNOWN Eritreans and Ethiopians absorbed the MOST Near Eastern admixture compared to other Horner groups. Its why they speak a Semitic language. They are still AFRICAN tho because the majority of their admixture is African and their culture.

I personally disagree.... I actually think yall are quite diverse as hell especially Oromos and Amharas who are two BIG populations in the Horn. Maybe because I'm an outsider.

Probably not as organized compared to the Amharas. While they were fierce warriors I don't think they had the organization compared to the Amharas. Why didn't the Tuaregs conquer most of West Africa? They were imo better warriors than the Mandinkas, Fulanis and others.
