Larry Brown as an X and Os coach is great..
But it takes more then that in the NBA..
I think Larry Brown is an old crumudgeon who hates young players like Wilt said earlier..
That 2004 chip if you look at it was really won because Kobe sabotaged that series and was in full a$$hole mode when Shaq was killin Ben Wallace..
The Pistons couldn't even solidify it the next year..

status by how he just destroyed Spree and the T'Wolves in the WCF. You can say what you want, but the Lakers lived by the sword, and they died by the sword, and Kobe got the Lakers there, but Tayshaun and the Pistons zone defense was too much for Kobe and the Lakers. smh at eating Ben Wallace food, Big Ben out rebounded him and got more blocks than him, while only being 6-9 compared to Shaq.

Shaq was putting up points on Big Ben, but Ben was outworking and outhustling Shaq on the boards, blocking shots, and was a great anchor on defense, which Shaq was terrible at in the series, as his defense was nonexistent. During the 3-peat, Shaq was getting like 3 blocks a game and actually tried on defense, but after the 3-peat, he stopped playing defense and took the step back as the 2nd option to Kobe. Only way the Lakers would have won if they had Mailman, who shut down Duncan and KG in the playoffs that series. The Pistons pick n rolled the Lakers to death, but with the Mailman, it would have been much different. Even if Shaq would have gotten the ball more, the Pistons would have won breh. There zone defense and the way they were denying Shaq the ball, and the way they shut down all the role players, and the zone defense on Kobe, the Lakers weren't gonna win that series unless they had Malone.
