Man, I had been a Larry fan for like a solid year or two before that. When bro was still going between making trap music and player shyt. That project just did it for me. It's too smooth and has some of the best Cardo beats out of all their collabs. That was the project that elevated him imo.

maybe the weakest of the cardo collabs
and something about that pj elevated my paranoia during time of release

but
when i went back to his catalog
his earlier shyt wasnt for me…pretty much before SITM2/Very Peaceful

mr. Midnight/port of san fran is easily where he carved out his lane and became the larry we know today
he hasnt missed since then

You had to be there when 30 Day Run dropped. No lie, it felt like the beginning of something dope with him. I'm happy he found his lane and ran with it.

yeah that heavy trap shyt isnt for me…
when it come to larry
i think it sounds basic for him

i think spaceships on the blade is where he perfected using somewhat that trap/southern style but blending it with that west coast sound

and it worked perfectly

and Green Juice in Dallas will always be my favorite Larry song
and is in my top 5 favorite tracks from the west coast

Game Relatesd wasn't Payroll's best work by far, but it's HBK that lightweight ruined it for me.


Meet Me on Harbor is the only track that I'm heavily fukking with on this album. Production is A-1 but larry just isn't really my cup of tea anymore.
