It was interesting.
The effect was there.
It was supposed to be memorable, and to be as uncomfortable for White peoples as possible.
First President Dinner was calling slaves "******s," most recent Presidential Dinner, the President was given the reclaimed slur as a sign of endearment.
There are levels to this shyt.

compare a restaurant setting to a dinner event known for being edgy brehs

This is the epitome of fake outrage. You are forcing a comparison with a situation that has nothing to do with this event. If you have problems with being black baited or poorly serviced in different settings, make a separate thread about it. Don't force your outrage about something else, onto this event by making it more than it is

lol. Chess? again, if you have problems then address it in another thread, this event is what it is

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by the lack of self respect in those worldstar vids and black twitter activities?

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by the some black folks labeling Bill Clinton the first black president because of his bad behaviour and not for his saxophone skills?

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by the hiphop community's contradictive stance on street terrorism and white supremacy?

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by the black community's loyalty to the democratic party, despite many of their policies negatively affecting them?

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by the black community's lack of financial and social support for individuals and organizations that unapologetically follow a black based agenda?

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by rappers portraying success as having cars, money and non-black bytch?

-you really think that white folks are not emboldened by "black version" of a movie, app, song, and presidency portrayed as being low quality, immoral, and poor leadership....by other black people?

Thanks for setting up the strawman... Isn't it ironic that strawmen don't eat crow?

I actually enjoyed the performance until he blew it with that corny ass "look at me" directed to the president.

It is an insult to his character (not his presidency, there is a difference), and a weak cheap way to get laughs/attention.

I never said white people were "not" anything.

I feel your rage, but I don't share in it.

you're talking foolishness and the fact you have no daps shows that.

the clear fact that you can comprehend simple concepts and find correlation in them is astounding. We are talking about communciation, not restaurant etiquette - geezus are you serious?

strawman? bu you talmbowt white folks feeling emboldened over a comedy set. How much cornier, reaching, and strawman could you get. Everything I mentioned is common knowledge, properly contexted and factually backed

He started with uncomfortable moments and jokes and ended with an uncomfortable moment and joke, which is what I found funny. But you trying to make it more than it was. You are in a thread that is about a comedy set, talmbowt the psychology of white folks and the character of the President, but usingterms like strawman

Don't care if you like his performance and you don't need to share or understand my "rage," but at least understand your discomfort clearly revolves around what white folks will think, rather than the actual joke

Fox News’ Jesse Watters, HuffPost Reporter Get Into Fight After White House Correspondents’ Dinner (Photo)
Fox News host Jesse Watters and Huffington Post Washington bureau chief Ryan Grim got into a physical altercation at MSNBC’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner after-party Saturday night.

“Punches were definitely thrown,” a witness told The Washington Post.

Grim and Watters don’t have a personal relationship but the beef apparently goes all the way back to 2009, when Amanda Terkel wrote a column about getting “harassed” and “ambushed” by Watters, according to the Post.

Terkel is now a HuffPost colleague of Grim’s, who reportedly took out his camera phone and attempted to record Watters at the MSNBC party. The Fox News host didn’t appreciate the action and reportedly snatched Grim’s phone. When Grim tried to retrieve it, the altercation began.

Republican National Committee executive director Sean Spicer helped break things up, according to the Post. Ironically, the altercation took place at the U.S. Institute of Peace building.

Fox News did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment. But Grim offered the following to the Post: “Ambush guys can’t take getting ambushed. Maybe he should think about his life choices.”

Post political reporter Dave Weigel was able to capture a pic:

First of ALL .... Respekkit ...This is MY thread :birdman:.

All jokes aside.

I'm not trying to make a mountain out of molehill. I enjoyed most of the comedy.

I'm talking about the gradual desensitization of blatant disrespect to Black people that is getting worse by the day. (Callin the president nikka??? c'mon....)

Act like social media ain't making it more visible...and influencing more minds to accept it.

Thanks for the feedback. I think we're done here.

I'm not fishing for daps, which clearly you are
I'm not trying to camouflage my worries of what white folks think, like you are
I'm not mentioning up unrelated situations to force comparisons, like you are

I'm maintaining perspective on the event and keeping the joke within proper context

I'm watching the full clip right now, and this nikka Wilmore going in :whew:

"You got some jokes. Mr. President. The president’s funny. Stay in your lane, man. You don’t seem me going around president-ing all the time, right? I don’t go around passing health care, and signing executive orders, pardoning turkeys … not closing Guantanamo."

"It looks like you’re really enjoying your last year of the presidency. Saw you hanging out with NBA players like Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors. That was cool. That was cool, yeah. You know it kinda makes sense, too, because both of you like raining down bombs on people from long distances" :talibama:

"Oh, by the way, you guys, Black Lives Matter is here tonight. I’m just kidding. Relax, white people, they’re not here. It’s just a joke. Just relax, just relax." :mjlol:

This shyt funny as fukk and I'm only a few minutes in
