Oakland is aided by the fact that they live in the Bay Area which is a top 5 Metro area. Ain't shyt around Vegas. If you rank their area compared to other NFL areas, it would only be greater than Cincinnati, Nashville (Titans), Jacksonville, New Orleans, Buffalo and Green Bay (and none of those towns are dependent upon transients)

10 years ago I would of agreed with you.... But right now the country is becoming more and more liberal in terms of gambling...the NFL already has teams in States where there are casinos and where weed is legal...If the proposed 1.2 billion stadium is built and it looks like it will be then exceptions will made for Vegas to have a franchise...the NHL is already coming to Vegas and the NBA isn't far behind
