I just watched the first couple of minutes. But I don't think the point of view of the documentary is disingenuous by looking at the worst students. The point is, students like these in chicago consist of a larger population than what you will find in any other city. You can find bad students in every city but there won't be as many as in chicago. So its a problem.

I agree these bad students ought to be taken out of the normal classroom, even if it is perhaps worst off for them. When the bad students leave the class they make room for the good students to learn. Simple as that. These good students can't learn and subsequently may be influenced to become bad students themselves if they sit next to bad students all day.

As for what to do with bad students when they're all put in a classroom full of bad students, idk. I think it would help if the bad students were put into limited size classrooms. Like classes full of 4-5 people so they can get the attention they deserve. But I'm sure that would cost a lot of money.

I felt real bad watching this episode man.
Wish nothing but the best for the kid Spanky

Kids can be ruthless. People need to be kinder to one another. The trash ass teacher didn't do shyt to solve the problem. Some kids drop out because they just say fukk it and don't want to deal with a$$holes everyday. You learn a lot about human nature in school if you are paying attention.
