The us is a vast country. There are many AA's that have never met a Haitian.

3. Too many Russians. Like foreal, if I didn’t know better I’d think this place is a Russian colony or some shyt. and it’s not just tourists either. they own multiple businesses, hotels, stores, properties etc



6. M Said the island has changed a lot in recent years infrastructure wise and that the Russians are buying everything. Dude said that even if you speak/understand Spanish, always reply in English because “it goes your way. They treat you a 1000 times better. especially if you black, because they assume you’re Haitian if you don’t speak English”. Dude said he been here for so long and he hasn’t spoken more than two sentences in Spanish.

7. Saw a lot of land and property for sale

Interesting this country seems like a place where a lot of money can be made for us foreigners.

The Dominicans I know who are in medicine or business fields pretty much stay put.

Grandparents and paternal father because of retirement. Step pops because of success. He's been wanting to leave since he was like 40. Uncles because of the lifestyle. I

Receptionist at hotel I was staying at was a breh that could speak Russian, son said his name is “Vladimir”. First time I saw a black man with that name. Owners were Russian, I saw them pulling up in a Porsche and calling the Vlad breh a couple of times to the parking lot.

Blows how they treat Haitians over there. Every time I go on YT comments, it's literally a shyt storm. Haitian culture is very interesting to explore same with D.R. Compas and Merengue sounds very very similar

However the tension between both is..

I'm not Dominican im AA. They are plenty of books on the subject of Haitian and Dominican relations.

I’m Somali but my favourite people outside of my own, even more than the Jamaicans who have the goat culture, are Haitians. I’ve never met a disloyal or dishonest Haitian. Most hard working real nikkas of all time. I salute them on some real shyt.
