Not game, but the switch (after the launch announce/preorder announce last january) is the only thing i have preordered since I think Goldeneye...

if there's a company with a good track record then pre-ordering makes sense especially if you get the 20% discount. i pre-order a lot of games from Best Buy and get the discount and a 10$ gift card.
