Also, alot of celeb names are amalgmations of their existing name or just straight up made up. Like for instance I doubt you'd ever meet a Cruise or a Mapother unless you came from their hometown.
That's true. I heard Marvin Gaye originally didn't have an e on his last name.

A lot of that comes from the French influence.

You hear names like Boudreax, Thibodaux, Savoie, Ettienne, Bartie, etc. A bunch of those families are descendants of the French settlers that came here in the 1600s-1800s.
Oh I know. It gets worse in Arcadia and those areas. Some of them joints are just :mjcry: when it comes time to pronounce them
