When it comes to Basketball, no they're not. When the Hawks/Wiz were bad, only nikkas showed up. Same thing with the Sixers now. Pistons arena is in the burbs so that's a bit different

I'm black and I love the Dubs because I think Steph Curry is the exact type of guy I want young black kids to look up to. I root for the Seahawks and Russell Wilson for the same reason. Am I a CAC/c00n now?
I also think Curry is good for the game. Exciting play. He's someone that people of all backgrounds can take a liking to. It's good for the game to have a clean cut star be the face of your sport. MJ in the 90s (despite having personal baggage that the general public was unaware of at the time) took the NBA to heights that it's never seen before

You tell me. There have been multiple clean-cut MVP caliber players like Steph Curry since MJ's 2nd retirement. What's the reasoning behind his amazingly high popularity & likability amongst casual fans in comparison to nikkas like KD or Kyrie for example, who are just as exciting?

His family is cute? I'm sure his kid has garnered him a lot more attention than usual. I don't we've ever seen an nba kid act like that at a press conference and get that much attention which then feeds back into steph curry himself. I think there is light skin dynamic in play but I don't think it's the whole thing.

Actually, it was around 18 million, peaking at around 22 million. That's very good for something that's not football. If this was a Game 6/7, do or die, it would have eclisped the CFB Final which got 28 millionlol only 12 million viewers for an nba final?
like u said Durrant has only been acting that way lately and that's only do to people questioning does he have the toughness and a moxie to be a champion but prior to that he's as clean-cut as any athlete could be and KD is more transcending and better player then current curry
as far as CP3 and Kyrie they both have national commercials endorsements from major companies & up till this year both have been ranked higher then curry
and jordan was not clean cut at all he didnt have a great relationship with the media he was known to be cheating on his wife and the gambling issue was major going reason they love'd him is because he was the greatest of all time
I have nothing against curry is just when I hear the media speak about him or fans speak about him non blacks I should say they seem to be extremely favorable toward him IMO it's only one reason that I believe
