That can be disabled via the options menu. It's called "listen mode". It will be turned off by hardcore, immersion seeking players but noobs and casuals will probably play with it on. I think it should be disabled by default because some people, like myself tend to want to play the game the way it was intended to be played.

It's not gonna be available for another couple of hours, the timer should go away and give you a menu or download option. You dont have to do anything else for now, you should get prompted.
