Last of US NPC Interaction Thread

Yesterday when playing through that known as the Last of Us I realized that a big part of my investment in it is the interactions with human opponents.

For example I was fighting a group of like 6 humans and by pure coincidence I killed all of them except a dude with a bat. Dude with the bat decides to stop hiding and says 'You killed all my friends but I ain't afraid of you m*ther*f*cker'. He walks towards me super hero style and I shoot him in both knees with my last 2 pistol rounds.

I walk towards him to finish him and he says 'WTF MAN you're f*ckin crazy , but if you're going to finish me then finish me!'.

I was like

and took him out with that bat to the grill.

Wow i never saw that happen. Then again, i only use brazillian jiujitsu in this game for the most part. I apply the rear naked choke and the enemy never gets to process whats happening to them. Lets not kill people in The Last of Us unless they leave us no choice like those clickers and bloaters, friends.

The AI is dumb. They walk right in front of Ellie whos scurrying away and dont seem to notice her but hear me taking footsteps. Is it this way in your version or do the enemies actually see your friends?

I posted in one of the threads, cant remember which one but there was a section right before I got downtown where I had to sneak past some soldiers and I was sneaking around but she was walking around like she was friends with them soldiers and kept getting me spotted. Of course they came after me and not her. I had to restart the whole section because it would happen every time. This happened in a couple of other sections too so yeah sometimes the a.i. is broken.

That's crazy. I've never had a problem with Ellie in my version. She usually follows right behind me.

For whatever reason I always have the max amount of scissors. Seems like I'm guaranteed to find scissors whenever I look for supplies.

Clickers get the molotav breh. Almost guaranteed to get 3 with each use.

waste of a molly, i've done that a couple of times but now i prefer the bottle+nail bomb. i like mollyin unsuspecting humans, any others who see them get confused as hell.
