Villa Straylight.
So I recently got a PS3 again(yeah I know, I wanted Persona 3 and 4) and since it came out I've been wanting Destiny, but I thought it'd be on steam, which I have (no destiny yet). So I'm thinking shyt lemme get this game, but then I hear there's no story mode just online shyt and I'm like :dahell: why would I want an rpg with no fukkin story. So I ask my coli fam, is it true that destiny has no real story mode? Should I even buy it?

It has a story mode just no offline mode... But as a big destiny fan the story is pretty trash. With the recent expansions destiny it is finally a legitimate game, but people that love it because the gamplay is A1 not because they like the story. The game is worth it if you have people you can get on with and like a shooter / rpg where you can customize your dude

In summary, it's like world of warcraft with guns but a lot less grindy.

Bought it at launch and promptly traded it in because the game was incomplete.

Bought the taken king edition for $32 on Black Friday. It's totally worth it now. It's comes with boost that levels one character to 25 (level cap is 40 for now). Leveling up feels great and you really feel the progression simply by playing the game.

Matchmaking in PvP & PvE is fast and easy. I gave destiny a 1/5 at launch. The current iteration of the game is 5/5. I'm having fun gearing up my Titan and can't wait to start a different class and do it all over again.

Anyone playing/buying Destiny for the first time is in a sense, in luck 'cause ALL The "Expansion Packs" are available now. So provided you can find a deal or bundle that would lump in the Taken King, House of Wolves and that first shytty one along with the actual game for 60 or BELOW...then you've pretty much got the COMPLETE game.

A bit of politics for this enjoyable but morally reprehensible series....For those of us (I did) who bought the 60 dollar game off the bat and were forced to buy the DLC to actually get content, Destiny has been nothing more than capitalism at it's arse fukking finest and despite getting the other DLC for free..This game ain't worth playing without it (Dlc) 'cause you won't be playing what I honestly believe is the full game (Standalone main game and the DLC).

So...if you're interested and can get the DLC for under around 60...give it a go. I won't lie and say I didn't have fun with it, it is a very nice game, but you'll need a squad to truly enjoy it at it's fullest, and the DLC to have content enough to keep you interested.
