The gameplay was simple run and gun, but the way it was presented to you
was brilliant, Max collects mad L's in his life but still winds up a G at the end
It's one of the best non open world games I've played in a while.

Max Payne 3 started off good, but dude kept taking the obvious wrong choices over and over, like how did they not kill you yet? Dude busts into a house full of armed goons, gets disarmed, gets a hostage killed, but he survived?

Have you ever played a Max Payne game before?
Dude has always been getting into situations impossible to survive...Max is not Sam Fisher, he don't sneak in through the back door quietly taking dudes out...He busts through the front door and somehow someway always ends up clearing out a room of 20 heavily armed goons...In three games he's bodied the entire Italian and Russian mob outfits on the east coast...
That said he always had a purpose for his murderous rage...In MP1 it was his fam, in MP2 it was Mona...In MP3 they turned him into a drunk pill popping raging bloodthirsty idiot...He had no reason to continue after chapter 3, them nikkas weren't after him...Besides that the whole lets setup Max Payne to take the fall for Brazilian organized crime angle was straight basura to me...
Anyways the game was enjoyable, the story wasn't great but gameplay is by far the best in the series and made up for the story...Rockstar stayed true to the series roots...I just wish they didn't do Max dirty by having him act like an idiot and went with the real ending to MP2...

i played the first one where dude had the permanent screw face but that was like 10 yrs ago
It is definitely a good game. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The multi was fun as well. I got a lot of enjoyment out of gang wars. If only there were not so many glitches in the multiplayer though I might still play it every now and then...
Yeah, this game was piff. I loved that in a game series based on incredibly illogical situations, this game started with the logical end to Max's situation (drunk, washed up, hitting rock bottom). I was expecting a Man on Fire ripoff to the fullest, but they came with some pretty quality stuff.
And that soundtrack.......piff. The shootouts on the yacht in Panama with the music in the background...........

I might rebuy this on PC soon. It was nice but I felt as though it got wack after a while. I liked the MP but then I got REALLy bored of it and then the fact you couldn't skip cutscenes made me not want to replay it.
