It was ok.

The story and characters were piss poor. Just a nonense plot and a bunch of one dimensional stereotype characters.

The gameplay was fun but the lack of puzzles was ridiculous.

It was a 6.5/10.

true about the puzzles.
that was one of the defining traits of the old Tomb Raider games and they totally removed that from the new one.

Game was great. Right behind last of us. and uncharted.

There were puzzles in this game, the side tomb quests.
Please. Those "puzzles" were a joke. Required zero thought. A three year old could do them. They amounted to nothing more than "push this crate" now "push this one"

Besides the fact that the side tombs werent necessary to beat the game.

Im sure the next game will be more tomb oriented. This was an origin story and is better then every other tomb raider game in history.

Just cracked this open got it Christmas. shyt IS PIFF. searched, because I knew there had to be a thread on it. Surprised its so small tho. Man this chick GOES THRU IT IN THE GAME. and some of her death scenes are just fukking BRUTAL. Not the best story but I just finished TLOU, so I don't even need to be thinking hard. AND I get to puzzle solve and collect shyt too MAN WHAT.

I've been meaning to post a review if the game.

It was fun, but, lack a lot of depth and wasted game elements.

It did nothing to actually make me want to explore. I felt Tomb Raiding was a waste of time. Hunting made zero sense. They could have made the game more challenging if they required u to hunt to live ala Snake Eater. But, u had to hunt once and that's it.

The game was too easy. And you can only get away with that, with a great story. Enslaved was like that, but, even easier, but, had a dope storyline.

Oh yea, one review pointed it out; but  at the dramatic turn Lara made from dandilion and crying to her first kill to Liam Nelson .

Don't get me started on the thousand times they overused the "no, I have to go alone, because thus is a single player game" video game plot device.

It was still a fun game, with beautiful scenery. I've never had that much fun with a bow and arrow. I'm down for another one, if they get a better story. They were almost there.

Everything with Lara alone was absolutely great, though. It didn't feel as slippery as Uncharted. And while those guys are much better than Tomb Raider's Lara herself was very well animated and the combat was hella good.
