I copped it on 360 for like $20 last year, shyt was pretty good for an uncharted knockoff

Nobody can even remember what the story was, not one character was interesting and the puzzles werent a part of the main game.

Trying to escape an island where a cult of shipwrecked goddess worshippers plot an escape by waiting for the right sacrifice to the goddess.
No one expected this game to be so grimey.
When Lara woke up surrounded by mangled bodies.Game really did a good job of combining elements of dead space and uncharted.

To be honest. They were not truly worshipers, they were trying to get off the island themselves, but as you said, they were looking for a "spiritual" sacrifice so the Oni woman could steal the body and go Imhotep on the Earth again. They could have ended it themselves, if they simply killed the woman in her statue but they simply didn't understand the shyt that was going on. So in order to survive they took the men in, and killed any of the women not worthy.

History will remember him, but because of Lara, your name will be forever etched into history as the rightful person who found the place. Sometimes rules has to be broken, to keep rules intact.
