Of course, depending on the context that they are used: sample size, power, P values etc.
the crazy ones are always the most intelligent
We're talking football stats...a completion is a completion, a interception is that, the amount of yards you throw for in a game is fact...as I said, it's the narrative people build around these types of stats that leaves room for debate. Furthermore, even in your ex ample, the stats don't lie, they represent the data they're extracted from, they may not be good stats due to sample size bias or data errors, but the stat itself doesn't lie.

We are also talking about evaluations, therefore stats don't tell the whole story.

Yall don't get it. Miko was right about Tannehill. He fails to meet the grade in practice and then sucks in games while teammates like Grimes take the bulk of the blame. Jameis meanwhile is a better QB than Tannehill already. He is better under pressure and throws the ball better downfield. Miko will love Jameis' play and cheer on Grimes quietly.
Same Ryan who shyt on practice players calling them broke :bryan: while tom outchea giving money away for interceptions .

Statistics is merely the manipulation of data to arrive at some sort of outcome with a degree of certainly. Clearly data is data. I can analyze quarterback efficiency in a number of different ways using different statistatistical methodologies and arrive at different outcomes depending upon the purpose I want to serve that's all I'm saying.

There are lies, damned lies, and statistics friend.

Stats, like all numbers, are subject to human interpretation. So yes, they can and often do fail to tell the entire story.
Tammy has garbage time state most of his TDs came with the Dolphins out of the game or already down by a few possessions with little time left..I watch the Dolphins she mad a good point..fukk tannyhill
Like i said, the stat doesn't lie, the narrative placed on them is the lie...
