No, see Tannehills problem was
A - a terrible Oline
B - Terrible coaching and a coordinator that would not let him audible and make any changes at the line.

When he has had time he has shown to actually have a pretty good deep ball. He showed it quite a bit last year.
He also showed his mobility and his passing on the run and out of the pocket is actually really good.

The fact that he had the shortest amount of time from snap to being hit should let ppl know how bad it was for that offense.

I hear excuses. Tannehill has already been through 2 coordinators. At some point the blame for his performances rests on his shoulders.

His deep ball last year only connected because Parker out jumped defenders
Any QB can throw jump balls to dominant receivers.

And while Tannehill can thrown on the run he isnt better than QBs like Tyrod or Geno at this.

Explain to me why you think Tannehill is better than Fitzpatrick? In which exact ways? Pocket presence? Accuracy? Anticipatio?? Footwork?

Ironically your bias is blinding you from the truth about Tannehill.
Tannehills mid range passing and short passing are above average. He's not as accurate with the deep ball but he's shown he can hit it when given a little more time in the pocket.

I think overall Tannehill is better than Fitzpatrick. There is a reason he could barely stick with a team...or even why his own team isn't really reaching for him like that.

he;s a solid number 2 guy. He's a solid stop gap QB. but nothing more.

He's a little reckless, doesn't have the greatest pocket awareness, and his game management isn't that great. He can make some good throws then follow it up with a dud. and then another dud, then another. Then a great pass. For a guy with so much intellect and smarts he plays dumb a lot.
And for a guy with that much experience at the position I would expect a lot of those little mistakes to not be there at this point. which is also why he hasn't really stuck around with a team for long.

Tannehill isn't perfect, but he's been improving every year since he's been there and that is with the worst oline and coaching staff in football. He has good size and mobility. His passing is pretty accurate especially that midrange. He can make some really touch throws. His pocket presence is inconsistent. but that could be due to the fact that his internal clock has to run faster based on the line...or not. We'll see more this year. But when he has time he has balled out.

If he doesn't make better strides this year, He will have definitely run out of excuses. But when your own OC tells you you can't audible?? that is already handcuffing you and that vanilla offense they ran. Even other offensive players mentioned that.

Parker barely played last year though.
and when he did he barely got any burn. He only got like 26 passes last year.
See, this is what I mean about dudes not watching the games like that.

In fact he didn't really start playing until week 12.

he caught 4 passes before that....(he was also out and injured)

Most of his deep passes went to Stills.

C'mon now. If you gonna talk about these guys, at least know what you are talking about.

Also, he has gone through those coordinators....and where are they now?
where is Philbin now?

I mean if these guys were some what competent surely they could catch on with a new team.

I'm a fins fan and watch every game..he was progressing his first two years in a elementary offense. He has terrible accuracy and a terrible touch on the ball. He regressed last year. Most of his stats are garbage stats when the game is out of reach...Fitzpatrick is a much better QB...as of today!!! He at least went 10-6 and almost made the playoffs...Tanny sucks dude...wtf u talking about?

Tannehills mid range game(like I was saying) is above average by far.

And where is philbin coaching as a head coach? or even as a co ordinator?
I mean if he was so competent in his job he certainly wouldn't be on the Colts as an oline coach.

it is what it is, ppl have NO problems shytting on the QB but feel like everyone else is free from accountability?

I would take Tannehill over Fitz ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

same goes with Geno and even Tyrod.

As a dolphins fan....no lie I'm curious to see how he plays.

We'll see how he plays. It can't hurt to have sat and learned from the greatest QB in NFL history. If he ends up being the starter for week one and has all of his weapons healthy, he can do some damage.

Gronk, Edelman, Amendola, Bennett, and Lewis. I think Lewis will be HUGE out of the backfield. One of the shiftiest and quickest players in the NFL. You have Edelman, Amendola, and some others that are great underneath and can create separation.

Then there's obviously Gronk.

I think a big weapon and difference maker this year will be Martellus Bennett. He'll be able to take coverage away from Gronk, and if he doesn't, then Gronk will get even more favorable match-ups.

This nikka said Ryan Tannehill is close to being a top 10 QB :mjlol:

Be the worst QB in your division but be a top 10 QB :stopitslime:

If Tannehill was black he'd have been holding a clipboard by now
