Nah, my lead told me he didn't want me to lose my job because I'm a good employee/hard worker.
I remember couple of years ago I was at a rough time working a temp service job at a warehouse in Atlanta . One of the Mexican managers came up to me talking to me like I was stupid. I just stared through him like I would beat the fukk out of you, he just walked off.
At those type of jobs the white men will smile in your face and act all buddy buddy. But behind the scenes he’ll tell one of the black or Latino managers to straighten you out. I know the games they like to pull.

As the workers? No. And whites don't want to hire Black people anyway and haven't since Reconstruction.
Black people as company management though? Sure. As owners of roofing, construction, etc...businesses? Yes.

I've never personally had an issue. But a great deal of the Black & Mexican issues stem from prison politics spilling out into the real world.
All these warehouse & manual labor jobs are filled with lower middle class folks with a lot of ties to the streets & relationships to gangs.
Surenos(Sur 13 & Whites in jail are allies. Nortenos (XIV 14) are outnumbered by southerners in jail so the Nortenos are allies with the Blacks inside. It absolutely is a different relationship with Blacks & Mexicans up north in the bay & Sac vs LA & SD.
It was really bad in the streets in the early 2000's EME (Mexican Mafia) put a greenlight on all Black gangs & quite a few innocent civilians were hurt. That greelight started when the East Coast Crips one of the largest Black gangs in LA robbed the Florencia13 one of the largest Hispanic gangs of a load of dope. Bloody war.
Its calm down quite a bit.
