If you pay people correctly, legal citizens will work those jobs. They need to go after these low balling ass employees

These companies use undocumented labor because they can exploit them, have them work in incredibly unsafe environments with OSHA violations everywhere, and there is no way they can unionize or complain to anybody, because they're undocumented, and they take whatever shyt is being flung towards them.
Exploited labor = Maximum profit. Better pay for workers = 1 less Lamborghini for the suits.

Those illegals can be paid cheaply and likely under the table in cash.
You don’t have to give them W-2 forms, pay taxes on them, unemployment, and you don’t have offer retirement and insurance.
Other people are not doing that same backbreaking manual labor for pennies on the dollar.
If businesses had to pay higherwages for employment best believe ALL those costs are going to be floated to the customer on the back end. Businesses are about turning profit and they aren’t eating any of that overhead trust me the customer will.

better hire cheap DOCUMENTED citizens and regular black folks and pay them decent wages if y'all expect all these construction projects to get finished....

This stems from corporate greed when it comes to competitive bids.
The company who says they can make the building at the cheapest price usually wins. A company gets the contract and has to attempt to make it work within those parameters while trying to make a profit.
The most flexible thing a company can maneuver is labor.
This is a casualty of capitalism.

Americans CAN afford to be picky. Unemployment is under 4%, there are jobs out the ass and people are taking them. Nobody taking a hard labor construction job over something easier (and indoors) for the same money.
Do I think there needs to be dedicated groups of people (black, white, etc) who take construction jobs? Sure. But we don't have that setup today.
