The United States Capitol shooting incident of 1954 was an attack on March 1, 1954, by four Puerto Rican nationalists; they shot 30 rounds from semi-automatic pistols from the Ladies' Gallery (a balcony for visitors) of the House of Representatives chamber in the United States Capitol. They wanted to highlight their desire for Puerto Rican independence from US rule.

we don't have to do shyt, black folks can continue to hold hands and pretend like there's some unity between blacks and mexicans until it's too late. but it's in our best interest to support republicans on keeping these mexicans from lowering our quality of life.

The Phasing out, all goes back to White supremacy. It's hiring practices, housing discrimination, that's keeping Blacks in constant competition with Mexicans. All via White racism. I say Blacks stay neautral, and build. Mexcans are also taking over poorer White communities. Something tells me we'd just be doing White peoples bidding by adopting THEIR animosity towards illegal immigration. I don't see that option ending any better for Black people. Mexicans are taking the low wage jobs. Cities like LA, Chicago, NYC, and Miami, that had high Black populations, were never cities that actually BELONGED to Black folks. Mexicans are starting to take the CRAPPY jobs that White people relegated us too, now we should join Whites in a fight against Mexicans to keep those same crappy jobs? I see what you're saying, but I'm skeptical as HELL. Black folks just need to find a way to be on the competition field for skilled labor, so that way low wage seeking Illegal immigrants, would be of no immediate concern, and we could fully focus on White supremacy instead of doing White peoples bidding.

all i know is that i am glad to have grown up around puerto ricans up north, i have no beef with anyone/group here in the capital of latin america, and got a platonic friendship with a chick here in miami with a rich daddy that is from Cúcuta, Colombia.

To be fair, Black Cubanos in Miami are some of the most WOKE Hispanic groups in America. That's the dichotomy between Hispanics in Miami. South Florida has the most diverse Latino population in America. In Miami, you see everything from White/European looking Argentinians, to Yoruba and African religion practicing Black Cubanos. Depending where you live Miami, a Black person may have grown up around Black Cubanos who are open to Black marriage/relationships/friendships, or you grow up near super racist Latnos.

Wow, that's an interesting article. Pretty much how it is with all those Babalawos in Miami. Black Cubans in Miami have very loud and unashamed connections with their West African ancestry. Black Cubans are the most woke of all Latinos. And there's PLENTY of Black Cubans in Miami.
