Lauren Boebert’s Son Allegedly Robbed a Woman With a Brain Tumor of Her Last $75

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) has been having a rough time of it over the past few weeks. Her chances of being reelected in Colorado’s 3rd District were almost nil, so she switched to the more conservative 4th District where she’s getting clobbered in the polls. Now her son Tyler, 18, has been arrested after allegedly robbing a woman with a brain tumor of her last $75.
Tyler Boebert was arrested on 22 criminal charges relating to his alleged crime spree. Rather than being upset about that, Boebert jumped on X to hammer President Joe Biden, writing “The Biden Crime Family will go down as the most corrupt political family in American history.’
Funny how she made no mention of the Trump crime family or her own crime-plagued family.
Denver’s Westword reported that Tyler Boebert’s little alleged crime escapade included robbing the brain tumor victim of the last $75 she had. The newspaper hilariously noted that Tyler is just about as smart as his mom—since he wore a hoodie plastered with the name of her restaurant while he was allegedly mid-crime spree. But that’s not the only connection he shares with his mom. Both have a history of criminally negligent driving and refusing to take responsibility for it. And Westword reports:
“Tyler’s February 27 arrest marks the second time in two years that he has found himself on the wrong side of the law.
In 2022, charges were filed against him for a car crash that left one of his friends hospitalized. For that incident, Tyler was hit with a misdemeanor traffic charge of “careless driving causing bodily harm,” and his pal was charged with unlawful possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance after cops found unprescribed Xanax pills in a bag of his. Tyler’s charge was later dropped down to a “defective vehicle for headlights” ticket.
Tyler was due to appear in court in September 2022 for the car crash, but he was a no-show. He got hit with a bench warrant as a result, but was later allowed to appear virtually in Garfield County Court instead of in person.”
But the situation is even more lurid than that it seems. The felony charges Tyler was hit with on February 27 are connected to a series of car thefts in Rifle, where he and some of his underage friends robbed several people including the poor woman dealing with a brain tumor, police say.
According to investigators, Tyler and his fellow hooligans were captured on surveillance cameras as they used credit cards they had stolen from their victim’s parked cars in a number of locations on February 19 and 20, according to their arrest affidavit. The affidavit, released by the Garfield County Clerk of Court reports that the cards were used at the Kum & Go in Rifle, and at a Love’s Travel Stop in Parachute, where Tyler and his chums were recorded on video.
But the spicier bit of this whole scenario is that Tyler “supposedly made a sex tape with” one of his female cohorts.” Police discovered that when another one of the suspects, a minor female identified her female cohort as being purportedly involved in the video. The suspects sent the tape around to people they knew.
The crime ring is a small one with just two female minors, Tyler, and a male minor. Police allege they stole people’s wallets and credit cards and tried to make purchases with them. One purchase that was denied for $717 was made on shein.com, an online style and accessory marketplace. One of the members also tried to make a purchase for $175, at the Kum &Go.
Looks like this member of the Boebert apple tree didn’t fall too far from his family. His dad Jayson Boebert has also had his share of legal problems. But considering the fact that Tyler’s mom, Lauren Boebert is bombing in the polls in Colorado, she may have plenty of time to discipline her kid, especially since her son is a baby daddy. If he really did do a sex tape I’m willing to guess he was influenced by his mom’s Beetlejuice performance in front of an audience at that theater in Denver.
So maybe like mom, like son?
