If her point was that she sold 50 million in units, isn't getting what she deserved, and feels like she is a "slave" to the record company, I feel her. She did make a poor decision to not pay taxes on the 1.8 she earned in 3 years (that number is very small when x3 yrs). How can you be Lauren Hill and only earn 600k a year? She either had a crappy contract or crappy management, or both.
No excuses on this one, she knew what she did. She just made the mistake of trying to take her frustrations out against the last person you should, the IRS! Fear two things, 1)God 2)Internal Revenue Service

I still don't understand how people don't know how easy it is to get caught up in tax problems when ur a celebrity or u generate a lot of money...alotta things get missed especially if u don't know numbers that well or u don't have a good accountant...my problem is how quick they are to throw a black person in jail for that shyt but white people get a chance to pay the shyt off...

Yeah, I've always thought that if I made it that big and accumulated that much wealth. I would have more than one accountant. None of whom knew about each other so they could check each other's work. Make sure no one is getting more than they should and have my shyt paid and my money making money.
