If Utah's a 35 win team, either Danny's drafting nothing but high level talent or there are no 50 win teams in the West
A lot of called it when it happened that other posters and the media would start clowning players if they didn’t follow in Brunson’s footsteps of leaving money on the table.
They couldn’t treat it as a one off thing.
Some people have like this weird idea that if you’re not a superstar you getting max money is crazy but that’s not how these contracts work.

They're going to circle back for LaVine after he gets off to a good start... which is stupid, because this summer was the perfect time to trade for him before he can start raising his value.

Good deal for Lauri and with his skillset and numbers the pas couple of years he was getting paid regardless. Still only 27 and maybe can get even better if he is ever paired with an elite guard. 7 footers with 50 40 90 potential getting over 20 a night is usually going to get the max in most cases.
West will be better yes. GSW are just looking like a 1st round exit team at best. Those KD championships shortened Klay's career, as their bench was short and guys like Klay had to do more, and in result he's gone, past his prime, and GSW are yet to find a legit 2nd option for Curry.
